Developed by General Dynamics/Lockheed Martin specifically for the Israeli Air Force, the F-16I Sufa is a heavily customized two-seat variant as Fighting Falcon. First delivered to Israel in 2004, the aircraft was customized with advanced Israeli-designed avionics, electronic warfare systems, helmet-mounted sights, and CFTs mounted along the upper fuselage.

The conformal fuel tanks significantly extend the strike fighter's operational range without sacrificing underwing hardpoints, allowing the IAF to perform long-range precision strikes and air defense missions across the Middle East.
